The setup includes lithium battery systems ranging from 8-20 kWh, complemented by 8-20 kW of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. This Intelligent Micro-Grid and Energy Storage System was implemented across 27 tourism islands to provide sustainable and reliable power. The system features a substantial 4,970 kWh battery storage capacity and 4,600 kW of solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation. Complementing these renewable energy sources, a 6,000 kW diesel genset powered by a Volvo engine and coupled with a Stamford alternator ensures grid stability and backup power during peak demand or adverse weather conditions. The entire system is equipped with real-time monitoring and control capabilities, allowing for efficient management, performance optimization, and continuous operation of the energy grid across the islands, minimizing downtime and enhancing the sustainability of the tourism infrastructure.

The gensets are capable of supporting continuous operations and providing backup power during grid failures, making them an essential component for maintaining energy security in critical infrastructure or areas with unreliable power networks.

Designed for remote and off-grid locations, these gensets ensure consistent and efficient power supply to support critical telecom infrastructure, enabling uninterrupted communication services even in areas with unreliable or no access to the main power grid. This solution has played a vital role in expanding telecom coverage and improving connectivity across large parts of Africa.
This intelligent telecom base project involved the deployment of over 1,000 customized diesel generator sets for major telecom operators, including China Tower, China Mobile, and China Unicom. Powered by Kubota engines and coupled with Leroy Somer alternators, the gensets were specifically designed to meet the power demands of telecom base stations across China. Installed progressively between 2015 and 2020, the gensets have been running reliably, ensuring continuous and stable power for critical telecom infrastructure.
